Solution:

If

m_1 \and m_2

are slopes of the lines. For lines to be perpendicular

m_1 × m_ 2 = -1

Line ⇒

2x + 3 y + 1 0 = 0

(given)

y={-2x}/3-10/3

on comparing with

y = m_1x + c_1

m_1={-2}/3

Now, checking option (b)
⇒

3x -2y + 37 = 0

⇒

y={3x}/2+37/2

m_2=3/2

m_1 × m_ 2 = -2/3×3/2=-1
