Given, cost price

, Let

{MP}=₹ x

According to the question,

⇒\;x × \;{(100-36 \%)}/{100} \;\; =250 × \;{120}/{100}

⇒\;x × \;{64}/{100} \;\; =300

⇒\;x \;\; =\;{300 × 100}/{64}

\; ∴ \;x \;\; =₹ 468.75
