Total marks of Amit

\;\; =75 × \;{64}/{100}+80 × \;{65}/{100}+100 × \;{80}/{100}

\;\; =48+52+80=180

Vikram total marks in

{B}+ {C}+ {D}+ {E}

\;\; =80 × \;{70}/{100}+100 × \;{73}/{100}+50 × \;{84}/{100}

+150 × \;{86}/{100}

\;\; =56+73+42+129=300

∴ \;\text " Less per cent "\;=\;{(300-180)}/{300} × 100

\;\; =\;{120}/{300} × 100=40 \%
