Kolleru Lake is one of the largest freshwater lake and is located in Andhra Pradesh. Kolleru is located between Krishna and Godavari delta and covers an area of $308\mathrm{mathrm}\mathit{s}\mathit{q}\mathrm{mathrm}\mathit{k}\mathit{m}$.
The lake serves as a natural floodbalancing reservoir for these two rivers. It forms the largest shallow freshwater lake in Asia.
