Solution:

(d) In the figure

∵ {\PR}={\RS}, ∠\RSP=25°

∴ ∠\RSP=∠\RPS=25°

In △PRS

∴ ∠\PRS+\∠\RSP+∠\RPS=180°

⇒ ∠\PRS+25°+25°=180°

⇒ ∠\PRS=180°-50°=130° ⇒ ∠\PRS=130°

∵ ∠\PRQ+∠\PRS=180°

∴ ∠\PRQ+130°=180°

∴ ∠\PRQ=180°-130°=50°

Now, In △PQR

∠\PQR+∠\PRQ+∠\QPR=180°

⇒ y+50°+60°=180°

⇒ y=180°-110°=70°

So, value of

y=70°
