. The volume of the cuboid is :

Solution:

(d) Let,

l=1n, b=2n

and

h=3n

Surface area of cuboid =

2(lb + bn + hl)

⇒

2(2n^2+6n^2+3n^2) = 88

⇒

22n^2 = 88

⇒

n^2 = 4

n = 2

∴

l = 2 \cm, b = 4\cm

and

h = 6 \cm

Hence, Volume of cuboid

=l×b×h

= 2×4×6 = 48 \cm^3

.
