= 8 { min } = { 8 }/ { 60 } { hr } = { 2 }/ { 15 } { hr }

∴ { x } /{ 5 } - { x } /{ 6 } = { 2 }/ { 15 }

⇒ { 6 x - 5 x }/ { 30 } = { 2 } /{ 15 }

x = { 2 }/ { 15 } ×30 = 4

Hence, the required distance is 4km.
