Solution:

I. Bala’s present age

= (23-5)/3 + 5 = 11

Difference between Bala’s present age and David’s
Present age

= 70 -11 = 59

II. Amit’s present age

= (36-10)/2 + 10 = 23

Sum of Chand’s age & Amit’s age

=36+23=59
