Amount = Principal + SI

When amount is Rs 2000 the Sl will be

Now, $\mathit{S}\mathit{I}=\frac{\mathit{P}\times \mathit{R}\times \mathit{T}}{100}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{T}=\frac{\mathit{S}\mathit{I}\times 100}{\mathit{P}\times \mathit{R}}$
$=\frac{500\times 100}{1500\times 5}$
$=\frac{20}{3}=6\frac{2}{3}$yr
Total time$=10+6\frac{2}{3}$
