Solution:

(1) Cost Price of a toy
=

(100 /{100- L%}× S.P.)

= ₹

(100 /{100- 6}× 47)

= = ₹

(100 /{94}× 47)

= ₹ 50
In order to gain 4%, he should sell the toy at:
S.L. =

({100+ P%}/100× C.P.)

= ₹

({100+ 4}/100× 50)

= ₹

({104}/100× 50)

= ₹ 52
