The Euro Cup is organized by the United European Football Association(UEFA) commonly known as the UEFA Euro Cup. This trophy is related to the game of Football.
The UEFA Euro Cup was started in the year 1958. In this tournament, only teams from the European continent are eligible to play in the tournament.
It hosts every four (4) years of time. The total fifty-five (55) teams are eligible for the qualifications and at last twenty-four (24) are qualified for the final event.
The main idea for hosting a European football tournament was first proposed by the Secretary-General of French Football Federation's Mr. Henri Delaunay in 1927, but lately, it was started in 1958.
The first edition of the tournament was started in 1960 and won by France. The current holder of the tournament was won by Portugal.
