Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, UK-based scholar John Ralston Marr, ISRO chairman A S Kiran Kumar and Hari Katha exponent Kamala Murthy has been selected for the SIES-Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati National Eminence Award. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was given the prize for public leadership. The Sri Chandrasekarendra Saraswati National Eminence Award has been instituted by the South Indian Education Society, Mumbai.
