Which state after the Government of Maharashtra in the country has mandated the Reading of the Preamble of the Constitution daily in its government schools?
In order to make the students aware of the constitution from the school level itself, the Education Department of Rajasthan has instructed to read the Preamble of the Indian Constitution in daily prayer meetings in the government schools of the state. This innovation of the Education Department was inaugurated in all government schools of the state from 26 January 2020 (Republic Day)
Maharashtra government has made it compulsory to teach the Preamble of the Constitution in government schools every day, Madhya Pradesh Government every Saturday and Chhattisgarh Government every Monday.
