On the lines of Asian and National Games, 'State Games Rajasthan 2019 - 20' was organized on 2 - 6 January 2020 in Jaipur.
On 2 January 2020, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot lit the torch at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur to inaugurate this biggest Mahaparva of sports in the history of Rajasthan. On this occasion, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also announced awards of ₹ 125 crore for the state's sports.
Around 8000 players and coaches of all 33 districts of the state participated in the state sports 2019 - 20. In this game Maha Kumbh of the state, players participated in a total of 18 sports competitions.
Jaipur topped the medal table in the state games 2019-20. Jaipur players have a total of 131 including 55 gold, 48 silver, 28 bronze medals.
Jodhpur with 46 medals and Sikar ith 38 medals.
Sirohi, Jhalawar and Dhaulpur were unable to get a single medal.
