yellow and rest is green. If the length of the green portion of the pole is 12.08 meters. What is the length of the pole?

Solution:

The part of green portion

=1-(1/10+1/20+1/30+1/40+1/50+1/60)

=1-({60+30+20+15+12+10}/600)

=1-147/600=453/600

Now,

453/600 x = 12.08

∴ x = {12.08× 600}/453

={ 1208× 6}/453

= 16 m
Hence, length of the pole = 16 m
