Solution:

Let their investments be Rs x, Rs y and Rs z respectively.
Then,

15x :8y :9z= 7:8:9

{15x}/{8y}=7/8

x/y=7/15

8/y=8/9

y/z=1

x : y = 7; 15 and y : z = 1 : 1
So, x : y : z = 7 : 15 : 15
