Let the average wage of the man be Rs x.
Then, the average wage of the woman = Rs (x - 3)
$\therefore 500\mathit{x}+300\left(\mathit{x}-3\right)=24\times \left(500+300\right)$
$500\mathit{x}+300\mathit{x}-900=12,000+7,200$
$800\mathit{x}-900=19,200$
$\mathit{x}=25$ approximately.
So, wages of a man = Rs 25 approximately and of the woman = Rs 22 approximately
