Solution:

Let the age of two new men be

x_1

and

x_2

years and initially average age of 8 men be x years, then

{8x-(21+23)+x_1+x_2}/8=x+2

⇒ 8x - 44 + x_1 + x_2 = 8x + 16

⇒ x_1 + x_2 = 60

Hence, the average age of two new men

={x_1+x_2}/2=60/2=30\years
