Solution:

x+1/{2x}=2

Multiplying both sides with 2 and then cubing we get:

2x+1/x=4

(2x+1/x)^3=4^3

8x^3+1/x^3+3×2x×1/x(2x+1/x)=64

8x^3+1/x^3 +6(4)=64

8x^3+1/x^3 =40
