The 101st Constitutional Amendment Act, 2016 (also Act No. 97) was passed in September, 2016 and came into force in July 1,2017 . The act introduced the Goods and Services Tax (GST) in India. It repealed Article-268A and added Articles-246A, 269A and 279A in the Constitution of India.
