According to the question
2x + 3y = 77 ... (i)
3x + 2y = 73 ... (ii)
On solving Eqs. (i) and (ii), we get
x = 13 , y = 17
∴ The fares for cities B and C from A are ₹ 13 and ₹ 17, respectively
