Solution:

Let the number of seats in each bus

=100

So, total number of seats available

=300

The school occupies

\;{4}/{5}

of seats

∴

Occupied seats

=\;{4}/{5} × 300=240

According to the question,

\;{1}/{4}

leaves in 1 st bus
So, number of remaining passengers

=240-240 × \;{1}/{4}

=240-60=180

So, fraction of seats occupied

=\;{180}/{200}=\;{9}/{10}
