Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) was established in year 1967 in Bangkok via Bangkok declaration. Its headquarters is located at Jakarta (Indonesia). Its main aim is to promote economic corporation among the member countries of Southeast Asian Nations. It has 10 members as of 2018 , but India is not a member of ASEAN.
