Let, cost of 1 chair = ₹ x
∴ Cost of 1 table $=\mathit{₹}\left(\mathit{x}+210\right)$
According to the question
$5\mathit{x}+3\left(\mathit{x}+210\right)=3110$
$\Rightarrow 5\mathit{x}+3\mathit{x}+630=3110$
$\Rightarrow 8\mathit{x}=3110\mathit{–}630=2480$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=\frac{2480}{8}=310$
∴ Cost of 1 chair = ₹ 310
Cost of 2 chairs = ₹ 620
Cost of 1 table$=310+210=\mathit{₹}520$
Cost of 2 tables = ₹ 1040
Hence, cost of two chairs and two tables$=\mathit{₹}\left(620+1040\right)=\mathit{₹}1660$
