Let the number of story books and other books are

and

, respectively.
Then, according to the question,

7 x=1512 ⇒ x=216

Let number of story books collected be

n

Then, again, according to the question.

\;{7 x+n}/{2 x}=\;{15}/{4}

⇒ \;{1512+n}/{432}=\;{15}/{4}

[ ∵ 7 x=1512

and

x=216]

⇒ 6048+4 n=6480 ⇒ 4 n=432 ⇒ n=108
