Ninad, Vikas and Manav enter into a partnership. Ninad invests some amount at the beginning. Vikas invests double the amount after 6 months and Manav invests thrice the amount invested by Ninad after 8 months. They earn a profit of

at the end of the year. What is Manav's share in the profit?

Let Ninad's investment

=₹ x

Vikas's investment

=₹ 2 x

and Manav's investment

=₹ 3 x

Ratio of the equivalent capitals of Ninad, Vikas and
Manav, respectively

=x × 12: 2 x × 6: 3 x × 4

=12 x: 12 x: 12 x=1: 1: 1

Clearly, the profit will be shared equally.

Manav's share

=₹ \;{1}/{3} × 45000=₹ 15000
