Let fraction is

x/y

According to the question

{\;\;{x}/{y+1}}{=\;\;{1}/{2}}

{⇒2x-y}{=1}

....(i)
and

{x+1}/y=1

⇒x+1=y

x-y=-1

....(ii)
From (i) and (ii),

x=2,y=3

Hence, fraction is

x/y=2/3
