Solution:

Let rate of interest = r
S.I.

={p × r × t}/{100}={600 × r × 2}/{100}=12 r

Again S.I

={p × r × t}/{100}={150 × r × 4}/{100}=6r

12r+6r=90

⇒18r=90

⇒r=90/18=5%
