(B) Every member of the National Human Rights Commission, State Human Rights Commission and every officer appointed or authorised by the National Human Rights Commission or State Human Rights Commission to exercise functions under the Protection of Human Rights Act is to bedeemed Public Servant within the meaning of Section 21 of the Indian Penal Code.
