ABCD is a parallelogram, in which ∠BAD = 60° and ∠CBD = 70°. Find the measure of ∠BDC:

Solution:

Given ∠BAD = 60° and ∠CBD = 70°
In a parallelogram opposite angles are equal,
Here, ∠A = ∠C = 60°
Now in ΔBDC
Using Angle sum property,
∠BDC

= 180 - (60° + 70°) = 180° - 130° = 50°
