The ratio of the length(l) and breadth(b) of a rectangular field = 3: 2 and perimeter of the field = 100 meter
FORMULA USED:
The perimeter of the rectangular field $=2\left(\mathit{l}+\mathit{b}\right)$
CALCULATION:
Let Length and Breadth be 3x and 2x
⇒ The perimeter of the rectangular field $=2\left(\mathit{l}+\mathit{b}\right)$
$\Rightarrow 100=2\left(3\mathit{x}+2\mathit{x}\right)$
$\Rightarrow 100=10\mathit{x}$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=10$
∴ Length of rectangle = 3x = 3 × 10 = 30 meter
