Calculation:
Let total work to be done = 150 units
Let efficiency of A and B respectively be 3x and 2x units/day
$\Rightarrow \left(3\mathit{x}+2\mathit{x}\right)\times 30=150$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{x}=1$
Time taken by faster person, i.e A $=\frac{150}{3\times 1}=50$ days
∴ The time taken by faster person is 50 days
Time is taken by A alone $=30\times \frac{3+2}{3}=50$ days
∴ The time taken by faster person is 50 days
