(5) In one litre mixture,
Alcohol ⇒ 0.7 litre
Water ⇒ 0.3 litre

∴

0.3/{ 1+x}= 15 /100 =3 /20

⇒

6 = 3 + 3x

⇒

3x = 6 – 3 = 3

⇒

x = 1
