(4) The central government,on 3 September 2013, approved Rajiv AwasYojana(RAY) as a centrally sponsored scheme and extended it till 2022. The government also approved merger of Continuation of Affordable Housing in Partnership Scheme with RAY to increase affordable housing stock, as part of the preventive strategy.
