(2) Gatimaan Express is an Indian first semi high speed train that runs between Delhi and Agra in India. It operates at a max speed of 160 km/h and is the fastest train in India. The train takes 100 minutes to cover the 188 kilometres journey from Hazrat Nizamuddin to Agra Cantonment railway stations which makes the average speed as 112 km/h. India’s first indigenously designed engine less train known as train 18(Vande Bharat), breached the 180 km/hr speed limit during test run in Kota-Sawai Madhopur section and become the country’s fastest train.
