(1) Friendship 2016 was the name of the first annual joint exercise between the Russian military and the Pakistan Army that took place in Cherat,in Pakistan’s north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province in September-October 2016. 70 Russians and 130 Pakistanis took part in the exercise. The exercise was named Druzhba-2016 in Russian.
