Jharkhand PSC Prelim Exam 15-Dec-2013 Solved Paper

The 73rd amendment to the constitution gave constitutional framework to the Panchyati raj and added part- 9 and schedule 11 to it. As per 243 D(3) of part 9, women were provided reservation of 1/3rd seats at all the tiers. It may be noted that in the parliament and the legislatures no act has yet been passed in respect of reservation for women.
