Area

=144 {\cm}^{2}

Area of square

=144 {\cm}^{2}

a^{2}=144 ⇒a=12 {\cm}

Perimeter of square

Perimeter of rectangle

4 a=2(l+b)

4 ×12=2(16+b)

24=16+b

b=8 {\cm}

Area of rectangle

=l ×b=16 ×8

=128 {\cm}^{2}
