Circumference of the base of first cylinder = 28 cm
$\Rightarrow 2\mathit{\pi }\mathit{r}=28$
$\Rightarrow \mathit{r}=\frac{14\times 7}{22}=\frac{49}{11}\mathit{c}\mathit{m}$
Volume of first cylinder $=\mathit{\pi }{\mathit{r}}^2\mathit{h}$
Height of second cylinder = 28 cm
Circumference of the base of second cylinder = 22 cm
$\Rightarrow 2\mathit{\pi }\mathit{r}=22$
$\Rightarrow 2\times \frac{22}{7}\times \mathit{r}=22$
$\therefore \mathit{r}=\frac{7}{2}$
Volume of second cylinder $=\mathit{\pi }{\mathit{r}}^2\mathit{h}$
$=\frac{22}{7}\times \frac{7}{2}\times \frac{7}{2}\times 28=1078{\mathit{c}\mathit{m}}^3$
Required difference $=1372\mathit{–}1078=294\mathit{c}{\mathit{m}}^3$
