There are 2 alphabets in between $\mathrm{D}$ and $\mathrm{G}(\mathit{E}$ and $\mathrm{F})$.
There are 3 alphabets between $\mathrm{G}$ and $\mathrm{K}(\mathrm{H},\mathrm{I}$ and $\mathrm{J})$.
There are 4 alphabets between $\mathrm{K}$ and $\mathrm{P}(\mathrm{L},\mathrm{M},\mathrm{N}$, and $\mathrm{O})$
Hence, there will be 5 alphabets between $\mathrm{P}$ and the required letter. Thus, the required letter will be $\mathrm{V}(\mathrm{Q},\mathrm{R},\mathrm{S},\mathrm{T}$ and $\mathrm{U})$
Considering the second letter of each term.
There are three alphabets between each of the second terms, I and $\mathrm{M}\left(\mathrm{J},\mathrm{K},\mathrm{L}\right),\mathrm{M}$ and $\mathrm{Q}\left(\mathrm{N},\mathrm{O},\mathrm{P}\right)$, and $\mathrm{Q}$ and $\mathrm{U}\left(\mathrm{R},\mathrm{S},\mathrm{T}\right)$.
Hence, there will be three terms between the required term and $\mathrm{U}$, i.e., $\mathrm{V},\mathrm{W},\mathrm{X}$. Thus, the required second term is $\mathrm{Y}$.
Hence, the answer is option A.
