In a college 200 students are randomly chosen. 140 like tea and 120 like Coffee and 70 like both tea and coffee. How many like neither tea nor coffee?

Solution:

Tea - A, Coffee-B

\n(\A \cup \B)=\n(\A)+\n(\B)-\n(\A \cap \B)

\n(\A \cup \B)=140+120-70=190

Number of students who like tea or coffee

=190

Therefore, number of students who like neither tea nor coffee

=200-190=10

Answer is option D.
