Here,

100 ×{100-8}/{100} ×{100-12}/{100}

=100 ×{92}/{100}×{88}/{100}

= {92 ×88}/{100}= {92 × 22}/{25}

= {2024}/{25}=80.96

Discount

= 100 – 80.96 = 19.04

Hence, Single discount = 19.04%.
