Validate

Solution:

(c) When the height and base of the cone are same as that of cylinder, then the volume of cone is 1/3 that of the cylinder.
Thus, the capacity of cone =

1/3

× 4.2 = 1.4 L
Thus, the remaining volume = 2.1 - 1.4 = 0.7 L
∴ The required ratio =

0.7/4.2 = 1/6
