Solution:

Given P(A) = 0.7, P (B) = 0.8

P(\ov{A}∩\ov{B}) = 0.15

⇒ P(\ov{A ∪ B})=0.15 ⇒ P(A ∪ B)=0.85

P(A ∩ B)=P(A)+P(B)-P(A ∪ B)

= 0.7 + 0.8 - 0.85 = 0.65
