Solution:

Given :

x=2√2+7

⇒{1}/{x}={1}/{2√{2}+7}={2√{2}-7}/{8-7}=2√{2}-7

∴x+{1}/{x}=(2√{2}+7)+(2√{2}-7)=4√{2}

∴{1}/{√{2}}(x+{1}/{x})={4√{2}}/{√{2}}=4
