The equation of straight line passing through point

(x_1,y_1)

with slope m is given by

y–y_1=m(x–x_1)

Here,

(x_1y_1)

is (7, –5) and

m={-4}/5

⇒y-(-5)=(-\;\;{4}/{5})(x-7)

⇒y+5=\;\;{4}/{5}(7-x)

⇒5y+25=28-4x

⇒4x+5y-3=0
