Solution:

Given :

9x^{2}+16y^{2}-24xy=0

⇒(3x)^2+(4y)^2–2(3x)(4y)=0

⇒(3x–4y)^2=0⇒3x=4y

⇒y/x=3/4

∴y:x=3:4
