As,

are in parallel, so potential difference across then will be same.

\; {\I}_1 × {\R}_1= {\I}_2 × {\R}_2

\; ∴ \;\; {\I}_1 × 12= {\I}_2 × 8

\;⇒ \;\; 0.4 × 12= {\I}_2 × 8

\;⇒ \;\; {\I}_2=\;{0.4 × 12}/{8}=0.6 {\A}
