Censure Motion:
The reason for its adoption should be stated in Lok Sabha .
It can be moved against an individual minister or a group of ministers or the entire council of ministers .
Hence statement 2 is correct.
For censuring the minister or council for specific policies and actions .
The Council of Ministers need not resign if it is passed in Lok Sabha.
No-Confidence Motion:
Thereason for its adoption is not required in Lok Sabha. (Article-75) Hence statement 1 is not correct.
It can be moved against the entire council of ministers only.
For ascertaining the confidence of Lok Sabha in the council of ministers.
If it is passed in Lok Sabha the Council of Minister must resign from office.
