Recently, China backs Iran nuclear deal, calls for a new West Asia forum . The forum would “enhance mutual understanding through dialogue and explore political and diplomatic solutions to security issues in West Asia”.
In 2015, Iran agreed to a long-term deal on its nuclear program with a group of world powers known as the P5+1

Under the accord, Iran agreed to limit its sensitive nuclear activities and allow international inspectors in return for the lifting of crippling economic sanctions.
Under the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPoA) Iran agreed to significantly cut its stores of centrifuges , enriched uranium, and heavy-water ,all key components for nuclear weapons.
